CUC 11.x French locale installation

Hello,
I have installed "Cisco Unity Connection 11.x" in English.
I have the file "uc-locale-fr_FR-11.5.0.1-1.cop.sgn" to install the French language.

I don't know what to do with this file.

I have access to the CUC both in command line and via Web client https://<ip_of_cuc_vm>/cuadmin/home.do.

Can you please show me the way?

I solved my problem.
I:

Directory [/dir/where/the/cop/file/is]

"/dir/where/the/cop/file/is" was wrong.

There is another problem.

Error: Stop the Connection Conversation Manager before installing this package.

Error: Stop the Connection Mixer before installing this package.

How can I stop "Connection Conversation Manager" and "Connection Mixer" in command line?

There is the command "utils service stop" but only the following services can be stopped:

   System SSH
   Cluster Manager
   Name Service Cache
   Entropy Monitoring Daemon
   Cisco SCSI Watchdog
   Service Manager
   Service Manager
   A Cisco DB
   Cisco CallManager Serviceability
   Cisco Prime LM DB
   Cisco Prime LM Resource API
   Cisco Prime LM Resource Legacy API
   Cisco Prime LM Server
   Cisco Tomcat
   Platform Administrative Web Service
   SNMP Master Agent

Hi there,

From the CUC - gui - Top Right drop-down choose;

Cisco Unity Connection Serviceability instead of Cisco Unified Serviceability

Then you can choose "Tools > Service management" and you will find those services

You should be good to go to stop/restart from there.

Thank you. I think that is going to help me.
Yet, the ".cop" file didn't install properly because of the manipulations I made.

So I have to reinstall the whole CUC which takes a lot of time.

And also I had entered my licenses in the PLM.

How I wish I had a proper manual to make that ".cop" installation!

Hi,

I could install the ".cop" file.
I stopped the two services "Connection Conversation Manager" and "Connection Mixer" via "Cisco Unity Connection Serviceability ->  Tools -> Service management" like you suggested.
And I installed the ".cop" file via "Cisco Unified Operating System Administration -> Software Upgrades -> Install/Upgrade".

As the OP asked 3,5 years ago about version 11.x why are you posting an answer now and about version 14?
