CUCI-Lync error "could not get an instance of redemption"

Greetings - I'm beginning to work with CUCI-Lync today and I have encountered an interesting error when opening a document in Microsoft Word.

I'm running on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit with the Microsoft Lync 2010 64-bit client installed.  Microsoft Office is at version 2010.  All click-to-call functions included with CUCI-Lync have been installed.  Nothing sticks out in the WINWORD logs, but I also am not sure what I'm looking for.  I've attached the log for review.

Any advise is helpful.  Thanks.

Jason, I'm having this same error. I didn't know it was related to Click to Call untill I found your post through a google search. Can anyone assist with this?

Hi Jason,

This issue looks similar to a bug CSCto61762. could you please try Re-registering redemption.dll and see if it fixes the problem?

Also can you tell me if outlook is installed?
