CUCM 11.5 to 10.5 downgrade

Hello,

We had upgraded CUCM from version 10.5 to 11.5. Our support contract is expired so we can't migrate licenses.

Can we install 10.5 version again via "Software Upgrade -> Install/Upgrade" procedure?

Wouldn't it be simpler to use switch versions to go back to the 10.5 installation. You'd lose any changes that were made in the 11.5 environment, but you'd still have the base configuration.

There is no such thing as downgrading for CUCM, what you're saying would just error out.

As mentioned, if you have 10.5 sitting in the inactive partition, you can go back to it, if you have already applied an 11.5 patch and 10.5 is no longer in the inactive partition, you would need to do a fresh install and then DRS your latest 10.5 backup.
