CUCM 7.1.3 Not booting-CUCM 7.1.3 Not booting-Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempt to kill init!

Hi,

Server is not booting and getting following error "Not booting-Kernel Panic - not syncing: Attempt to kill init!" 

For troubleshooting the particular issue i have done following things;

1. Rebooted the Server 1 or 2 times, still no luck.

2. used the Recovery CD for rectifying the issue and tried all the option which is available in the Recovery disk, unfortunately no luck (:

Kindly suggest me if any faced this issue and found any resolution for the same. Here i am attaching the snap shot of the error for your reference.

Hi Sunish,

What are the hardware specs. Is it an MCS server or is it a virtualized lab enviroment? If it is a lab system, make sure the esxi version is at least 4.x.
