CUCM 8.6 Unristricted move to CUCM 8.6 Restricted to CUCM 10.5 restricted

Hi,

We are planning to CUCM 8.6 Unrestricted move to CUCM 8.6 Restricted to CUCM 10.5 restricted.

Question is can I use the PCD tool only to export the configuration of CUCM 8.6 Unres so that I can import configuration to CUCM 8.6 Restricted.

Then upgrade the CUCM 8.6 RES to CUCM 10.5 RES.

Other wise I have that to use BAT tool.

Hi Piet.

Unfortunately you cannot migrate from Unrestricted to Restricted version directly or through DRS.

All you could do is to export CUCM configuration through BAT (as much as you can) and re-import on newly installed CUCM with restricted version.

In addition to what Carlo has said, u also need to look into format while import/export because of different CUCM versions.

I know that BAT File 10.5 has a lot of difference regarding naming and other options.
