CUCM  9.1(2) is now posted to cisco.com. CUCM 9.1(2) introduces new features  such as "jump" upgrade and more streamlining in License migration  process using Enterprise Licence Manager. Detailed "new and changed"  information is at:

I recently took a CM from an installation that started on version 9.1.1a and upgraded to 9.1.2.  Now CM reports that the partitions are unaligned.  Everything looked good before.  Per the release notes, this is to be expected for upgrades prior to 8.0(2), but I am not sure why this would happen with a machine that started out life as 9.1.1a.  Any ideas?

A partition alignment warning was added in 9.1.2 to alert you to the fact that you might not be running on proper VM specs, or used the official OVA.  If you are running on a VM that is < 80GB there is a known issue with partition alignment and the new 9.1 OVA needs to be used to fix the issue. That is why, you already had the issue on 9.1.1a ova, but now, it shows the warning, so we recommend that you use the new ova for proper allignment.

We're Cisco partner, alowed to get the NFR.

We've bought the NFR, and the edelivery team told that the image can be dowloaded from CCO.

But it's not the case.

How can we get all the bootable ISO image?

After you place your order, you should receive an eDelivery Order Notification email.  The email contains a link to a special bootable ISO download site.  This is completely different from the regular CCO download site that you correctly noted only has non-bootable ISOs.

Hi All,

We are planning for CUCM upgrade from 8.6.2 to 9.1.2.

OVA 8.x for 7500 users (2 CPU, 2X 80 GB Disk) was used as a template for our current 8.6.2 CUCM environment.  For the 9.1.2 upgrade,  do we have to use the 9.1x OVA template with the following configuration for 7500 users:2 CPU and 110 GB disk space.

Upgrading on a Virtual Server

If you run Cisco Unified Communications Manager on a virtual  server, and are upgrading to the latest release, you must make sure that  the virtual server Guest Operating System and RAM meet the requirements  for the latest release.

Note

In Unified Communications Manager Release 9.1, the following changes have been made to the OVAs: The number and the size of the vDisk for the 7500 user  and 10000 user OVAs have changed from 2 x 80 GB to 1 x 110 GB. If your  current VM uses the original disk sizes, do not change the size or  number of disks (keep the originals in place). The number of vCPU for the 2500 Limited User OVA has changed from 1 vCPU to 2 vCPU.

Here my current Machine uses 2X80 GB HDisk. Means I can just go with existing VM for 9.1.2.
