Hi,

Recently I installed CUCM 9.1 in Vmware.

I am able to access it from cmd line only from Gui it giving me error

HTTP Status 404 - /ccmadmin/showHome.do

type: Status report

message: /ccmadmin/showHome.do

description: The requested resource (/ccmadmin/showHome.do) is not available.

I restarted Cisco Tomcat services and restarted cucm but still problem exists.

thanks

Mohammed SaberUddin

This problem got solved with time.

After you upgrade the server needs quite a bit of time to do some back work behind the curtains.

Just wait up to an hour , and it gets fixed. At least I have had this now many times and it always gets fixed by time.

I think you forgot a port number in URL

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/7_1_2/ccmcfg/bccm.pdf

Step 2

In the address bar of the web browser, enter the following case-sensitive URL:

https:// CM-server-name>:{8443}/ccmadmin/showHome.do

where: equals the name or IP address of the server

Have you tried a different browser or a different PC yet?

Typing URL accordingly manual is the solution. Without waiting something. It works.

comon thats not the problem.

Most ppl use the default url

i.e.

http://ip/ccmadmin

or https://ip/ccmadmin

Which does take you to the right place if everything is working.

I am asuming

Go to the url he is posting that way.
