CUCM || ESXi 6.7 and CentOS Inquiry

Hi Experts,

From the OVA document below, CUCM 12.5 can be installed on ESXi 6.5 and 6.7 and uses "CentOS 7 (64-bit)".

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/uc_system/virtualization/virtualization-cisco-unified-communications-manager.html

1. Does this mean that any Update version is supported as long as it's under 6.5 or 6.7? I'm planning to upgrade to 6.7 U3.

2. Furthermore, on one of our UCS servers, 6.7 U3 only has "CentOS 4/5 (64-bit)". Is this okay to use as I do not see the option to choose "CentOS 7 (64-bit)".

Thank you.

On question 1, yes it’s okay to use upgrades within the major version.

On question 2, if you upgrade the VM hardware compatibility on the VM(s) you will get the option to set it to CentOS 7.
