CUCM External Call Control Profile URL Woes (11.5(1)SU5)

Hi,

Just created an External Call Control Profile on CUCM 11.5(1)SU5.

I can see that CUCM is sending HEAD requests to the server. But, the URL is incomplete, the last 1-2 items from the URL are missing. I tried changing the URL to a shorter version, but CUCM keeps querying the old URL.

Found various old bugs related to this, but they are all flagged fixed in an earlier version of CUCM.

Anyone seeing the same and knows a way around this?

Configured URL: http://[server-ip]:[port]/app/api/curri.

CUCM is sending HEAD requests to http://[server-ip]:[port]/app/api

My application is responding with HTTP 404 because the URl is not correct.

Will create a TAC case if the community doesn't know a solution to this.

From the CUCM Callmanager SDL Logs we see various HttpManager lines telling us it is parsing the URL configured correctly. It is just not using this url :(

Regards,
Erik

I have this problem too - it seems that if you only go two path levels deep however, it works fine.

I just reconfigured to use `/cisco/curri` rather than `/api/cisco/curri` which then worked fine. I'd still like to know why it's being weird though...

Hi etamminga,

I have the same Problem with ECC Profile over HTTP. In the Wireshark i see just the half of the URL that i have configured in the ECC Profil. I have open a TAC Case but i am not sure that the TAC Engineer understand exactly the Problem. So that is why i am asking you if you have solved the Problem?

I am running a Call Manager 11.5.SU5

Best Regard

Urs

Hi Guys, here is the Answer from the TAC.

Please find the documentation reference below, under FAQs:
