CUE Licensing

Hi,

we want to use a CUE 8.6 just for a very basic Auto Attendand Script, which forwards the caller to a hunt group or DN based on DTMF tones.

We don´t want to use any mailboxes.

1) Would the L-FL-CUE-PORT License be sufficient for this, or would we need the L-FL-CUE-IVR as well?

2) If we start with 2 licenses, i guess that the 3rd concurrent caller will get a busy signal. How can we detect/trace this "out of license" - conditions on the CUE? Is there a specific trace/debug command?

Thanks

Heinz

You don’t need the IVR license, just the port license. if you exceed the port license the callers will not hear the AA

Thanks

Srini is correct. Just to add on #2 -

- If you exceed the number of ports, callers will hear fast busy.

- You can monitor this live using the real-time reporting tool in the Admin GUI itself.

- You can monitor the past history using the Historical Reporting tool, a windows application, which can be downloaded from cisco.com/go/cue -> download software -> version -> utilities.

- I don't have the exact trace message handy, but yes, a message is printed out, and it is possible to search through that in the atrace.log file.

Abhi.

Much appreciated, that helped!

Thanks!

Heinz
