I'm having trouble with desktop phone control. I did a wireshark trace and its doing a SIP register with my old mac SEPXXXX.
I swapped phones by changing the MAC address field in CUCM and re-associated it under end user.
Any ideas?

Did you exit the client and re-launch it? CUPC would need to pull down the new device asociation via the CCMCIP API. Also, CUPC only does SIP REGISTER for softphone mode. Deskphone uses CTI/QBE, not SIP.

Presence server shows correct device MAC, but in the wireshark trace I switch to deskphone I see a SIP register with the old device name SEPXXX
I rebooted both CM and CUP
