Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me.
We're running CCM 6.1.2 and CUPS 7.0.2 and having an issue with one user. When she uses her desk phone (either directly or through CUPC) the call goes through and her calling party number on the voice gateway (Cisco 2821) shows the correct ten-digit number. When she uses the CUPC soft phone however, the calling party number only shows her extension, even though it's entered correctly in the DN settings for both the SEP and UPC profiles. Furthermore, when I change the external phone number mask for either, the change is not reflected on outgoing calls on the gateway.
I've tried restarting the sync service on CUPS and even rebooted the server itself to no avail. I'm going to try rebooting both CUPS and CCM tonight to see if that helps.
Well, looks like the issue was more widespread than just that one user. Apparently any changes in CCM were not taking effect (which I discovered this morning when I tried to forward a DN). Rebooting the CCM boxes cleared the issue.
I guess reboots aren't just for Microsoft anymore...
