CUPC fails to display login prompts.

Hey everyone. Having a hard time with this one. PC is running Windows 8.1

When CUPC 8.5 launches, cucsf.exe starts as well, but it quickly closes (not visible in task manager). I've tried reinstalling CUPC but that didn't solve it.

I appreciate any insight that can be provided.

CUPC was never tested on anything beyond Windows 7, as such, what you're doing is not supported, and there is no way to tell what's the expected behavior, it just might be it's not supposed to work as you're seeing.

If you want to use a client on W8, you would need to use Jabber, which is the replacement for CUPC.

Thanks for the response, Jaime. I wasn't aware of the lack of support for CUPC on Windows 8.

For anyone who might come across this in the future - I finally tried CUPC on a different Windows user profile and was able to login successfully. Looks like the user profile having the issue is "corrupted".
