CUPS 8.5.1-10000-35 Subscriber Installation keeps failing

Hi,

I have a CUPS Publisher running 8.5.1-10000-35. I am trying to build a CUPS subscriber node and I'm getting this critial error. Has anyone seen this before.

Do the two servers have identical specs? I.e. same size disks?

Hi Aaron,

No, the Subscriber I'm trying to add is a Virtual Machine, the Publisher is a physical machine, I want to add the subscriber as I was having trouble with the Publisher and I want to rebuild it.

On the Publisher I have

RAM 2048

Disk on the Logical vol: = 237GB

I was thinking I could make the VM the same memory and disk space as the Physical Machine and this might get me going?

Hi

Well - assuming (you didn't state specifically) that your VM has smaller disks, that would explain it. There's a bug referring to that scenario... Your VM will need same or larger disk space.
