CUPS 8.5.2 and wildcard Certs for calendar aybch

We are configuring up the EWS gateway to our exchange 2010. All impersonate checks completed OK. Uploaded Certs and cert chain is complete. We are using a wildcard certificate on our servers *.domain.com. Although I can upload these I get a SubjectCN Mismatch error on the certificate check. Any one know if CUPS supports wildcard Certs? Many thanks.

Hi David,

CUPS 8.X does not support the use of wildcard certificates.  Alternatively you may use SAN certificates.  I have provided the configuration details below:

Configuring Secure Certificate Exchange between Cisco Unified Presence and Microsoft Exchange

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cups/8_0/english/integration_notes/exchange/guide/exchintsecurity.html#wp1059692

Note:

If  the Certificate has the Subject  Alternative Name (SAN) field  populated, it must match the Common Name  (CN) of the certificate
