CUPS 8.6.2 and Exchange 2010 Calendaring with Jabber and filters?

Hi!

We are testing this integration and it's working with CUPC 8.6.1xxxx were you can "Calendar enable" yourself from

the CUPC client. I also read somewhere that you can do it from the CUP Users page.

Now we have started testing this also with Jabber Version 9.1.0.build12296I´

Question 1: It seems that i cannot "Calendar enable" myself from the Jabber client so do i have to do it from the CUP user page?

Question 2: Can you filter somewhere in this integration what "presence message" that shall be shown on the client side from Outlook like: Event, Meeting, Appointmento or keywords like Holiday?

Thx in advance

Rgds Mikael

  1. Yes. This checkbox has not been added to the options within Jabber yet. A recent discussion uncovered a CLI command that an administrator can run per-user. This is a workaround, not a real solution.
  2. No. CUP is just reading Free/Busy status, not the contents of the meeting. If Exchange says you're Busy then it shows In a meeting; if it shows Out of Office then it shows Away. That's it.
