Digest Credential in CUCM Application user

Hi All,

Please somebody share importance of digest credential in CUCM application user. Kindly let me know if I am not giving any credential for this, will it impact anything. Also If I am giving some credential, do i need to update anywhere in CUCM...

DIGEST passwords are only used for SIP DIGEST authentication. If the application user is not being used for SIP this is not needed. Even if it is used for SIP it will only be utilized if the SIP Trunk Security or Phone Security Profile is set to require DIGEST authentication.
