Does feutures of Device Profile model 8841 will be the same if we log it to 7821?

Hi All,

Good Day. We encountered an issue where in the mwi of the phone is not turning on when there is a voice message/voice mail. Upon further checking, we noticed that the device profile of the user is for model 8841 IP Phone and they login to 7821 IP Phone. As advised, configuration of the voice mail is correct and fine. Do you think that the incorrect model used by the user to login his/her device profile is the reason of no mwi?

Later we will further check it and I just want to check if the mismatch between device profile and model has an effect to the encountered issue.
