Error the run DMA

While run DMA into cucm 4.1(3) for upgrade database to 7.1(5) I view the error below:

 

[05:09:13 PM] modExportDatabase=Failure

 

[05:09:13 PM] Failed to complete database processing successfully.

 

[05:09:13 PM] License file (licupgrade.lic)is not generated as expected due to unsuccessful initialization or DMA validation.

 

[05:09:13 PM] Failed to validate Cisco CallManager database and directory exported data.

 

[05:09:13 PM] The exported data cannot be used for upgrade.

 

[05:09:13 PM] Correct the database and/or directory data and run DMA again.

 

[05:09:13 PM] Verification of DB in IDS failed. Retaining the TAR file as it is.

As the DMA error suggested that the tar file is corrupted , that is the reason this DMA import is failing while installing the cucm 7.1. If the 4.x server is still running, try taking the DMA again and use it on the 7.x install. If there are any errors in DMA, those need to be fixed first.

Hi ,

 

Check this bug if it helps even though your CUCM version to be migrated is different

DMA backup failed with modExportDastabase=Failure
CSCsg56433

Symptoms:
DMA backup faied with modExportDastabase=Failure

Conditions:
Failed to verify Cisco CM db and directory backed up data
correct the db and or directory info and run DMA again
verification of DB in IDS faild.

Logs show:
--- End -- Load, Transform, and Validate CCM Database
Failed to locate C:\CiscoWebs\DMA\bin\datavalidation.log
modExportDatabase=Failure

CSA is installed and blocking export.

Workaround:
Use correct version of CSA

The is DMA generated with success, but the error below appears while upgrade to 7.1(5).
