Expressway-C missing Unified Communications menu

Hello, I got a pair of Expressway-C/E installed in the lab with the intent to set up MRA. During inspection of the steps I noticed that my C does not have Configuration -> Unified Communications option, unlike the E. Did I set up the licensing incorrectly?

On the C

Expressway Series

10 Non Traversal calls

10 Rich Media calls

On the E

Expressway Series

Traversal Server

10 Non Traversal calls

10 Rich Media calls

Running X8.10.4. Any ideas?

This was an easy fix for me. Skip the setup wizard and the menu appears. You can even do so after you’ve built the system using the wizard by selecting re-run setup on the main screen.

I was really hoping someone would have an idea. This is a new install, btw. not an upgrade, and I have another pair licensed the same way with the same problem.

Bump, hoping someone has an idea here.

Did you ever find a solution to this. I have the same issue.

Hello,

Do you have "Cisco Expressway-C" a the top left of the windows ?

What Option Keys have you installed on your expressway Core ?

You should have options keys "Expressway Series" and optionally "H323-SIP Interworking-Gateway".

For information it's not necessary to deploy RMS licences on Expressway Cores from release 8.8.

I too have this problem.  Anyone with a solution out there?

I ended up rehosting the license. If that doesn't help, I suggest
rebuilding the box. Hopefully this is before you have it configured and
running.

Luckily this is a clean install. I've done this before.  Never had this issue.

I'll re-install and see if this fix the menu issue.

Thanks, worked for me too! I was just about to re-install.

I have the same issue, i am unable to find the unified communications menu under configuration tab.

and it is production environment.

does any one has fix solution other than re-installing.

Restart the wizard. Don't check any boxes, skip them. It should show up after.
