Firewall port ranges

Hi! I would like to know further  about the port ranges that is required deployment of UC infra.

For example:

expressway guide, port range 1024-65535 need to open. does this mean you need to open all these ports? or you can select any port number from this port range?

You need all the ports mentioned and it’s not just one port from this range

Thanks Nithin! does the system randomly select a port from this range for every instance(lets say user authentication, call, meeting etc.) because our enduser is asking why  do we need to open a broad range of ports in the FW given they only have small number of users, devices...

It Choose randomly. Refer the directions mentioned in the guide and open it accordingly. Port usage guide has clearly mentioned on which direction you need to open the ports.
