FXO Caller id Problem

Hi.

our system is 

- Cisco Voice gateway - CUCM - Voice Recorder -

FXO - cisco 3925 - cucm 8.6.2  -Voice recorder

 

When we call outside to ip phone .ı couldn't see the caller id  on the router and voice recorder.

fxo - router -sip to voice recorder 

 

How can ı solve the problem ?

When calling outside means, to an external user ?

no outside to inside for example 

ı call 05551234567 the number translate 1040 its my cti number .every thing is working but ı couldn.t see caller id .so we record the voice but ı dont know which number call us

What about other calls, are you getting the caller-id. If it’s fxo u need to adjust ring settings to receive the caller-id.

if you don't see the caller-ID for incoming calls on FXO, there could be  two things. 

 

  • some ISP activate this based on request
  • second you may need to modify  the FXO  ring settings. some ISP sends caller-ID informations along the call. some send it after one or two rings. to see when the caller-ID is send, the best way is to connect a Anlogue phones and see if it shows the caller-ID or not and when its gets displayed.

we called ISP .they can send caller id.we saw an analoge phone.
