greeting recording

Hi

I am unable to recording greeting from one of the extention. However, I can make call to unity mailbox.

I can leave message for extention and MWI works fine.

In the media bar, I gave phone extention to be used for recording but unity cant find it and says "The number specified does not answer"

any idea

Make sure the Unity ports aren't in a calling search space preventing it from dialing the phone you want it to ring - this is a common scenario...

My unity ports and phone extentions are in Internal partition and calling search space.

If this has never worked, check the UTIM for ports enabled for TRAP CONNECTION.

Thanks for input, actually the trick is that you delete the integration from unity first. First configure voice mail ports on CCM and then start integeration on unity. This works great.
