I have to setup a auto attendant (Call Handler) in unity connections.
when I got to test the call handler and call it at the extension I setup I always here the following message before it plays the call handler prompts.
"Sorry,(blank) is not available" [Repeats]
I want it to skip this message and just play the message I setup on the call handler for the prompts.. for example...
Welcome to company XYZ..
press 1 for accounting
press 2 for IT
press 3 for marketing
press 4 for customer support
I tried setting the option under edit greeting to callers hear nothing but then it doesn't play my options message.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Have you checked that the Callers Hear is set to "my personal recording"
that the greeting is enabled with no end date and time. A nice way to force
this is by using the Alternate greeting which overrides all others (at least
for testing )
You may want to check your schedule and if your "closed" greeting or other greetings are enabled over the standard or your desired greeting.
Seems that you are sending this to 'take a message' please check if this is a forwarded call to unity in such case create a rule for forwarded calls, and send this directly to the greeting you are looking for.
