How to Check CM-AD Connectivity

Hi Guys,

Can I check CM-AD connectivity? My clients cannot login to Jabber and the authentication is using AD account. The users who already logged on are not affected, but the users who reset their Jabber or not yet logged on cannot login into the system.

When I checked on System -> LDAP -> LDAP Directory, the AD setting is listed.

Thank you.

Hi,

To test CM to AD/LDAP, you can use the CCMUser pages.

Try and have someone log in there.

Does that work?

If it does, you know that CM to AD is ok.

Thanks,

Tim

In LDAP Directory, please hit Perform Full Sync now. As long as it runs, the connection is good. I found in CUCM if a user resets their AD password, I tend to have to manually hit the sync to get them to log in immediately. Otherwise it takes some time to have CUCM sync the new account details.
