In the Cisco "Jabber for Everyone" solution guide PDF from December 2019 (attached) there is a supported feature matrix that shows the Jabber Web SDK supporting Presence and instant messaging through Cisco Expressway as a feature of Mobile and Remote Access.
My organization has a full Cisco UC 12.5 system deployed with Expressway, Jabber, and Cisco Meeting Server on-premise . We want to develop some web apps using the Jabber Web SDK (CAXL and the Voice and Video SDK). Presently the BOSH XMPP IM and Presence endpoint is only available on the private company network using a private IP address such as https://10.44.x.x:5280/httpbinding. I'm assuming from the support matrix above, there is some procedure that allows this endpoint to be exposed through Expressway? I can find no instruction on how this is accomplished but I know there must be a way because it's right there in the support matrix!
Is there any way someone can point me in the right direction as to how this BOSH endpoint is reachable from outside the private network or how Presence and instant messaging using the Jabber Web SDK through Mobile and Remote Access is accomplished the way it's indicated in the support matrix?
Thanks!
