how to exclude certain phones from being tracked in CER 9.x

I know this feature is available on CER 10.x with the "Do not track phones under this IP subnet" option.  I would like to find out how to do the same thing on CER 9.x?

There isn't an option for that in v9. From the v9 admin guide:

"You must purchase user licenses for every endpoint controlled by every Unified CM cluster supported by

Emergency Responder, including hard IP phones, IP softphones, and analog phones. Licensing only some of

the endpoints in a Unified CM cluster is not supported."
