installation of cisco unified operation manager

Hi All, I'm well lost on this. I can create the virtual server with the OVA template, install windows 2008 R2 (64 bit) OK. I can configure the IP network information and make sure the virtual interface is connected to the correct network within VMWare but I can just not get the network interface to operate. I can ping itself but not its gateway address. There are other virtual servers using the same virtula interface and physical interfaces within VMWare.

Do I need to enable some of the server functions within widows to make it operate? I have not installed a license yet but will do once I'm happy its installed Ok and stable.

Any Ideas gratefully welcomed

Ah ha sorted. Just for the record. Just moved the vmserver to a different vid switch port then back and all is good.
