Hello Everyone:

I am trying to integrate a cucm ver 6.1 with a Avaya g3 ver 13 through  h323 ip trunk.

I am using this document to make this possible, but  the Cisco Ip phones can't call  the avaya phones, neither the avaya phones can't call the cisco ip phones

http://www.avaya.com/master-usa/en-us/resource/assets/applicationnotes/h323-trk-cm-ccm.pdf

http://www.avaya.com/usa/resource/assets/applicationnotes/ip-trunk-cm.pdf

I want to know if somebody has done this kind of integration, could you provide me with the docs?

Hello,

please refer to this document:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/pbx/interop/notes/430317av.pdf

Even though the software version on CUCM is older, and the note was written for the newer Avaya S8500 platform, the application note is still applicable.

Thanks.

I going to try the integration with the doc.

I will post the results asap.

Hello tony:

Thanks for your help.

I did the procedure in the doc the calls   Works perfect! I can call the Call Manager and ring the Cisco phone.

But...

Still cannot call from Cisco to Avaya...

I am attaching  a Trace for the Cucm

Any idea?

Rgds

Hello,

I can't decipher that trace, and therefore cannot see what's going on with your failed outbound calls from CUCM to the Avaya PBX. I suggest you contact our TAC group, if you haven't done so already, so that someone may look at the trace and be able to tell you what do change in order to get your system working fine.

Tony

When I set this up in our Lab I had to set check "Enable Outbound FastStart" on the Device > Gateway > Call Routing Information - Outbound Calls

Not sure if thats the issue but worth checking.

If you do a list trace tac (trunk access code for the H.323 trunk) and paste the results in here I miht be able to help more.
