Hi Michael,

That's news to me.  I thought that the Cius' shipment date is 1 quarter of 2011.  Thanks for the heads-up.

Cius is a different product.  Cius is a tablet, not only provides voice/video, but also VDI (Virtual Desktop).

Cisco Mobile for Android is the "mobile communicator" running on Android cell phones.

Michael

Ok.  Thanks.

Hi,

Is that application like the Cisco Mobile for iPhone which can make calls over WiFi or the normal Cisco Mobile Communicator?

PS:This naming convention was very poorly choosen.

Thanks in advance,

Nick

Any updates on whether this is available? It doesn't show up in the market, and google doesn't sem to be turning up anything promising.

Thanks

Cisco has a beta of the Cisco Mobile client available to users in the Cisco User Group for it's testing.  I believe the release date is Q1 of 2011.

I've got it installed on my HTC Incredible Android right now as a beta tester.  Just wanted to update you and let you know that it is coming.  At this time, it will not come with AnyConnect VPN support.

How can I go about getting a copy of the beta version?

Visit the website below and find the Beta section.  There will be instructions on how to sign up and then how to get the beta software:

Data Sheet

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6789/ps7290/ps11596/data_sheet_c78-649887.html

"Cisco Mobile for Android is officially supported on the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 or Samsung Galaxy Tab international version."

That's the most recent info I could find on it.

Can we use it with UC520
