Issue recording greetings in Unity 9.1.2

I am attempting to record a greeting directly in Unity for a System Call Handler.

When I go to Greetings, then Standard, and then press Play/Record, a box pops up that says initMMApplet: InitMMAppletInstance Failed to get instance

I am running Java 6 Update 7 and Firefox version 37 per another thread on the internet I saw, but it is not resolving my issue and this is really hindering my ability to do work.

Any thoughts?

Hello lindseybeans,

I would say stop dealing with Java and go download the Audio Text Wizard from Cisco Unity Tools (http://www.ciscounitytools.com).  Each version of Unity supports different versions of Java, and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.  I have opened multiple TAC cases and eventually got it to work one time, only for it not to work the next time I try.  If you are not familiar with the Cisco Unity Tools website and you administer Unity Connections, you should get yourself familiar with it.  There are Tons of tools on there that will assist you with many tasks.  They have great help files and sometimes even have videos to demonstrate how to use the tools.

Thanks
Nathan

Where has that been all my life, and how have I never known about it? Audio Text manager worked perfectly!

I must be missing something but I can't find any download titled "audio text wizard" on www.ciscounitytools.com. Can you give me a link?
