Jabber & CUVA on UCM8.5

Hi,

Are Jabber and CUVA friends? I cant get two way video between my Ipad and my CIPC with CUVA. The call is established but the remote end video is blank on CUVA. I'd like to run full Jabber on laptop but I dont have CUPS .

Jabber for Windows 9.1 supports deskphone video; however, you must uninstall CUVA, restart Windows (to ensure the legacy CDP driver unloads) and then install the Media Services Interface (aka MediaNet client). Once installed you can launch Jabber. Essentially the MediaNet Client replaces CUVA but is not backward compatible with IP Communicator.
