LDAPS kills Login for CUPS

We enable LDAPS on CUCM. I do the sync, CUPS stops working. When UNITY/UCCX/CUCM works fine as they should. What am I missing for CUPS to work with Secure Ldap, it should just work without enabling a service. Right?

What does mean CUPS stops working ? How can you see it ?  Which version of CUCM and CUPS you use ?

when we enabled LDAPS Cups stopped allowing logins.

so we found that the Cert was not correct on CUPS and we found the cert was missing on one of our subs. we corrected the certs re-enabled LDAPS and everything works now.
