Line 2 on cisco ISR-G2 routers

It is observed that line 2 is by default configured on the ISR-G2 router and I want to disable it!

Please suggest how to delete or disable this line?

What is the requirement of line 2 and impact of its deletion?

What do you mean by "line 2" on a router? Please elaborate and provide any related "show" outputs from the router.

All VTY console sessions/lines are typicaly treated and configured identically. The fact that you see line vty 2 called out separately in the config suggests it’s configuration doesn’t match the rest of them. Anyway, “transport input none” effectively disabled a VTY session.

I am observing a default line 2 other than administratively configured line vty.
