Maximum FXO ports on Cisco 3945

Hi,

Is it possible to configure 64 FXO ports on a Cisco 3945? It has been told in UC8.0 launch but I can only configure 48, 16 on the HWIC slots and 32 on the NM slot using four NM-HD-2V.

Regarding the NM-HD-2V, it has embedded DSP right? Is that a disadvantage vs using the onboard PVDM of the router?. In our case, we have a 2911 full of HWIC cards, and the customer requires 8 additional FXO. So one solution we are evaluating is using the NM-HD-2V + two 4FXO cards.

Yes correct the NM comes with PVDM to make the cards work, the EVM needs the motherboard PVDM
