migrated the 7921 phone firmware from CP7921G-1.3.3 1.4.4.3 I-CP7921G to drop calls

Hi, since I migrated the 7921 phone firmware from  CP7921G-1.3.3  1.4.4.3 I-CP7921G to drop calls !!!!

 

products, versions and settings are the following:

 

on wlc interface wlc:

wlc 4404 - rel 5.2.193.0

QoS:

vlvoce -> Quality of Service (QoS) platinum

WWM -> Policy allowed

 

 

802.11a / n Radios - 802.11b/g/n Radios

  Voice Parameters:

    - Admission Control (ACM) disable

    - Load-based CAC disable

 

 

Cisco Unified CM Administration

System version: 7.1.5.20000-6

 

 

any idea ?

enough to enable ACM and CAC? with the 1.3.3 firware on 7921 this did not happen

Which type of calls are being dropped ( IP-IP or PSTN ) ?

How frequently are the calls being dropped?

You should enable detailed callmanager traces on callmanager and capture them for a failed call along with calling and called party information. Steps to enable and capture traces are provided in the following link

7921 phones have only PERMITIONS  for internal calls, however, fall to the calls either by ip to ip and  ip to PSTN ....

I'll try with the trace of call manager thanks
