Migrating CUCM 8.5(1) to 11.5 with PCD : Migrate export cop install got failed on the source node ccm1

Hi

I'm migrating CUCM 8.5(1) on MCS  to 11.5 on VM BE6K with PCD 11.5.3.

I setup everything on PCD to have the cluster (pub on MCS7816 and one sub on another MCS7816) migrated to the new cluster on respective VM (one on each BE6K) and start the migration.

After 2 minutes, the migration failed with the error message:

Migrate export cop install got failed on the source node ccm1.customerdomain.com

Any idea where to look further ?

Thanks

Hi,

Can you attach "show network cluster" from CUCM PUB.

JB

Yes, here you are:

admin:show network cluster
172.16.1.60 ccm1.mutuelle-est.lan ccm1 Publisher authenticated
172.16.1.61 ccm2.mutuelle-est.lan ccm2 Subscriber authenticated using TCP since Mon Sep 5 19:59:04 2016

Can you also attach

"show version active" from both PUB and SUB

Hi,

It looks like you dont have any CUPS server and ciscocm.ucmap_platformconfig.cop is getting install through which PCD would pull its information.

At this point we need o look at PCD logs to find why it errors out.

No, there isn't any ongoing installation. The last installation was more than one year ago by ading a cop file.

Finally find the issue. From a web browser, there was an ongoing cop file installation, but that browser was closed, so was no more longer visible. By re-verifying quite everything, and coming to OS Admin --> Software Upgrades --> Install/Upgrade, there was the message telling that another session is still active. By closing the session and retrying a migration upgrade from PCD, it was done.
