Migrating TMS Movi to CUCM Jabber MRA

Hi everybody,

is there a best practice or some approved way to move over 500 Movi Users from a TMS setup to a CUCM Jabber setup?

It is a bit awkward to do this manually user per user.

Kind Regards,

Jannik

This is also a big problem for me and would like to know if anyone has solved this problem?

Maurice

We had the luck, that we could use a custom PHP, JS, MySQL based Database in which we documented the Movi users. We used the data from there, the CUCM AXL API and a SSH Connection to the PowerShell on the AD to rebuild all Movi Users as Jabber Users on CUCM and AD.

Did you ever get this resolved?

Hi,

You can not migrate Jabber Video from VCS to CUCM. Jabber Video for TelePresence (AKA Movi) is a VCS client and there are no plans to move it to CUCM. The jabber client/user info will need to be created manually on cucm. The EOS notice for MOVI provides details of the Product Migration Options

Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco Jabber for PC and Mac. Information about this product can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/web/products/voice/jabber.html.
