MRA problem about Jabber for Android

Hi everyone,

Recently, I meet a MRA problem about jabber for android.

My laptop has jabber for windows installed and my mobile phone has jabber for android installed.

On intranet, my laptop and mobile phone can log in successfully.

On extranet, my mobile phone can not log in but my laptop can. This is the problem what I meet.

There should be no mistaken configuration on expressway core and expressway edge, otherwise my laptop could not log in successfully.

So how can I deal with it? Could somebody give me some suggestions?

Thanks.

If you are using a current CUCM/Jabber release I'd make sure the jabber policies do allow mobiles over MRA in first place, if they do, then the next step is to review a PRT and expressway/cucm logs/traces

Hi Jaime

Would you mind to give me more guidances about how to review a PRT? I have not used it before.

Thank you.

Unzip it and review the logs, they're in plain text and a readable format, you can use the log analysis tool (though it might not detect your issue) or if you need someone to read your logs, I'd suggest you open a TAC case.

Did you create a BOT device (Cisco Dual mode for Android)?

Perhaps you have configured a CSF device.
