Hi,

Unity Release: 4.0 (2)

CM Release: 3.3.(4)Sr2 es49

I'm having problem with the MWI, the user have messages in his voice Mailbox and the light doesn't come on his phone, here are the things I have done,

1. refresh status ( no result)in the box , it says that the MessageWaitingRequest is pending?? I dialed my DN to turn the light ON or Off and that worked , so it's not the led of the phone.

2.Verified the ports , 20 ports has the MWI allowed.

3. The re-synchronisation is scheduled automatically at 3:00AM every day.

4.I changed the extension number, to see if it would light on my phone(no result).

5.No specific mention in the Event Viewer to that matter.

6. I deleted the Box,re-create, ( no result)

It's only for a user in particular, it's not at large in the system.

Does anybody has any ideas why I have that condition.

Turn on Port monitor and status monitor in Cisco Unity tools. When you do an MWI refresh, do you see the MWI digits sent. If so, verify the following:

Make sure in your DNB report in Call Manager that the MWI number isn't listed in the report as a rogue number. You will need to delete the number.
