The physical hardware for 2900 absolutely support this command with the appropriate license. It’s likely the simulator that does not have support for the specific command.

Hi @Nithin Eluvathingal

Its activated but i still can´t get the router to accept the command

Technology Package License Information for Module:'c2900'

----------------------------------------------------------------

Technology Technology-package Technology-package

Current Type Next reboot

-----------------------------------------------------------------

ipbase ipbasek9 Permanent ipbasek9

security disable None None

@Nithin Eluvathingal

thans for the reply,

I have used the following:

write memory

copy running-config startup-config

reload,

Is that a packet tracer ? If  yes,  AFAIK not all voice  commands are possible on a   packet tracer.

Informations which  I shared are for real routers.

Thanks,
That seems to be the problem.
As im going to implement it on a real router, can you just please confirm if the series 2900 can handle  SIP Trunk ?

Yes,  those can handle SIP trunk.

Make sure you have UC license.

Please provide the output of a "show version" and a "show license". It is almost certainly either the incorrect IOS image or the licensing isn't activated. Also please add the output of "show run | i boot".

Which mode did you try to enter the command?

Hi @collinks2

Configuration mode

Router(config)#

You are right. I tried to enable it in 2900 on the packet tracer but not found.

I have enabled it on the csr 1000 Router (virtualized).

Probably this command is not supported on 2900 router. Howevee,am still checking

@Donaire On a regular 2900 router that command is definitely available. Can you please share the output of “sh inv”. Not sure what you mean by packet tracer?

Hi @Roger Kallberg

I mean, im using the simulator Cisco packet tracer.
The show inventory command is not available on the simulator cisco packet tracer.

I not sure, but i guess this limitation is only on the simulator.
I am having network environment where by i need to make the router communicate with a PBX,
Im still wainting for the uc license therefore i was testing on the simulator, but seems I cannot use this command there.

I am afraid the series 2900 cannot support this, but all datasheet says it supports sip trunk.
