NTP Issue in CUCM 8.5

Hi

I have one problem comming in my CUCM installation. the error is NTP is not accessible.My installation equipments and operating systems.

I am using ESXi Server 5.5 made a CUCM server machine.

I am using CUCM 8.5

my Vsphere is install on Win 7 64 where I can use vsphere client service .

this is result in web Brower:

10.15.30.254 The NTP service not accessible. 

But in the CLI:

utils ntp status 
ntpd (pid 9494) is running...

     remote           refid      st t when poll reach   delay   offset  jitter
==============================================================================
 10.15.30.254    .
À.          16 u  160  512    0    0.000    0.000 4000.00


What happens ????

When i install subsciber Server, it's error.

I am sure my installation information is correct !!!

Hi

 

you need to configure the NTP server with stratum-1, so best option is to point it out to any of the Router or switch IP ans NTP server.

check and update the status.

I would start by installing an scenario that is supported and tested to work, CUCM 8.5 cannot be installed on anything beyond ESXi 5.1. It might be related to your issue.

But why in Publisher Server (installed in Esxi 5.5 !!!!) , NTP is so crazy :((

i will try its in VMWareWorkstation and show you the result ...

sometime it takes a time for publisher to reflect ntp status, wait for publisher to show ntp is accessible and then try to install.
