Only allow MVA access from remote destinations?

Sean McQuade

Hi all,

I have set up MVA and can diall into the DDI number and hear the prompt. When dialling from a remote destination, it asks for my pin and I can dial the number. When accessing this from a non-remote destination, the prompt asks me to enter my remote destination.

The customer would like this locked down further and wants to allow users to log in when calling from an RP, but not to allow them to enter an RP if their calling number isn't recognised as one. Is this possible?

Also, is it possible to lock down what the CCM End Users can access on the users page? Customer really only wants them to be able to edit speed dials and not much else.

Thanks

Sean

No you cannot block non-RDs from reaching MVA. They can configure a Credential Policy for the PIN though to lockout the account for too many failed login attempts.

Yes most of the /ccmuser UI can be enabled/disabled through the Enterprise Settings under the System menu.
