phone firmware compatibility between CUCM 8.6.1 and 10.5.1

Hi Guys,

We are planning to upgrade CUCM from 8.6.1 to 10.5.1(virtual to virtual). I'm trying to check the phone support and compabilitiy of phone firmware since we have a very big and various model.  My concern is 

1) are all those model supported by 10.5?

2) We are going to upgrade phone firmware first before the cluster upgrade,which mean after phone firmware upgrade, the phone will  still register with old cluster 8.6.1 for some time. Does the new phone firmware is compatible with old cluster 8.6.1?  I couldn't find the full list for all the phone model we are currently using, especially 6901,6911,7911,7912,7921,7925,7937,7960 and 7961.

I checked that linke before but i couldn't find all the phone model in the link.

such as 7911,7912,7921,7925,7937.

Are those phones still supported by CUCM 10.5? what' the firmware for them in 10.5 if supported.

Hi Chen,

these IP phone models are very much supported.

You can have latest FW deployed for these models.

For 7911: 9-3-1SR4-1S

7921:1.4.5.3

7925:1.4.5.3

7937:1-4-4-0
