Phone presence status not visible on the CUPS client

Hi Guys,

I have CUPS server ver 7.0.2 integrated with CCM ver 7.1.3 & Microsoft AD.

I can see the cups client status as avaibable, busy as indicated by the contacts add by user, but the customer wants to have Add contacts Phone presence status to be visible on the CUPS client.

The Search Results section of the CUPC interface does not show presence. You can submit a feature request through your Cisco AM if you want this.

My question was in the CUPS client as we see the CUPS presence status eg: Available,busy ...etc

The client wants to see Phone presence status of all the contacts added to it list in CUPS client.

As shown in the attached screen shot I can only see the cups presence status eg: Available,busy ...etc , we can not see Phone presence status like there are off-hook Phone sign or on-hook  phone sign.

I need to know how to achieve this, as I went through the admin / maintence guide documents I could not find it.

Hope you understood what is required.

1) CUCM > Device > Trunk.  Create SIP trunk to CUPS.

2) CUCM > Device > Phone > DN > Associate user to line.

3) Reset SIP turnk from CUCM

4) Restart PE from CUPS.
