Prime Collab Provisioning Not Matching Title for User Role Assignment

I'm trying to get Prime Provisioning to assign the correct user role to a user when they are imported from MS LDAP. In the Domain Settings, under the User Role LDAP Filter I have the User Role Set To Specialist and the Filter = "Title = Specialist" and it is always importing the user into the default "Employee" user role. I deleted this role, and now it doesn't import them into a role at all. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I think its a bug in the PCP, hopefully they will fix this as it is a major part in the Auto Provisioning.

Do you have a bug id? I couldn't find one myself.

No I don't,

If you have a contract open a cisco tac ticket and let them provide you with the bug id or a solution.

@rcfoltz, there are likely a few things occurring here that may be preventing your users from auto-provisioning to the correct User Role.

1. Make sure you have allowed for the "Specialist" user role in your Service Area under "User Settings"

2. You must define a Service Area LDAP Filter as well as a User Role LDAP Filter. In this case, you can create a catchall rule for your Service Area of, "User ID = *" if you don't want to perform any filtering at this level.

3. There are also business rules in affect here that define the default user role for new users. This will affect LDAP users. You can view this setting by going to Administration > Rules > domainname > DefaultUserType. By default this value is usually Employee, for the Employee user role. The enabled flag is n/a on this screen.
