Prime Collaboration Assurance Backup

Hi ,

We are running Prime Collaboration 11.0 . facing challenges in backup. 

1) When  tested the Back up with GUI interface, it's failed

2) Tried with taking the backup using cli. But ended with below error.

% Creating backup with timestamped filename: assurance-170607-1121.tar.gpg
Error: Usage /opt/emms/emsam/bin/cpcmbackup.sh backup_staging_dir
% Application backup error

How to troubleshoot this ... Which logs contains the backup attempt logs

Hi,

there are known issues in PCA 11.0 with backup and I don't think you will get a fix.

Nevertheless the logfile can be found in following directory: /var/log/ --> cpcmbackup.log

FYI: You should upgrade as first step to 11.1 before upgrading to 11.5/11.6.

As Backup alternative you could create a VM snapshot.
