Prime / Enterprise Licensing Manager

Hi,

I have a customer with a co-resident PLM/ELM and they have changed their DNS. Just wondering if any one has updated PLM/ELM instance DNS details and if they had any licensing impacts due to this change.

User guide specifies states re-hosting:

A hardware failure occurred and new hardware is required for Cisco Prime License Manager
Multiple Cisco Prime License Managers are desired and a subset of fulfillment licenses need to be moved to a new Cisco Prime License Manager

Thanks

Thanks for your assistance Aman, I understand the process. I was not sure if there is any risk of the licenses on the ELM/PLM becoming invalid. That thread does not specifically state if the PLM is also the CUCM Publisher.

Heath

Hi Heath,

Are u refering to  separate PLM or  co-resident with CUCM PUB?

Sorry for the late reply.

PLM is co-resident with UCM PUB

Hi,

there won't be any impact. You can change the DNS and existing license would work .
