Hi,

I have installed Unity 5.0 with faiover for voice messaging.

The Primary server is not mapping to the correct Partner server therby saying on the IP phone the message server is offline.

Is there a way of re-directing it to the correct server without having to re-install the Primary server.

Your urgent response is highly apperciated.

Thanks you all

Hi,

The first place to take a look at is the Application event logs and see when the problem may have started.  Have you failed over and attempted to retrieve messages while the secondary server is active?  If the secondary server says the message store is offline as well, you may actually have a problem with Unity being able to access the mailstore(s).  Have mailboxes been moved to a new/different mailstore that previously didn't have the Permissions Wizard ran on them?  The Unity_ mailbox is what determines the partner mailstore, and if that account's mailbox was deleted, or moved to a different server, this could also cause this behavior.  There are also situations where permissions on the mailstore(s) may have been modified or changed so Unity no longer has access.  That should get you started in the right direction.

Hope that helps,

Brad
