Recommended Cisco UCS Host Upgrade Utility

I just received a BE7K and would like to have the Firmware upgraded before I put the server into production.

Going to the Cisco Downloads page, it recommends to download 4.0(2c) however the latest version is 4.0(2f).

Reading through the Release Notes, 2f fixes some issues found in 2c.

Would the recommendation be to always go with latest release or -1 / -2?

From memory TAC will just ask us to download the latest version when bugs/issues are found.

Hi Aaron,

There must be a yellow start mark after the image 4.0(2c).
Start mark denotes that it is Cisco suggested release based on software quality, stability and longevity.
